Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The widely recognized SAS 70 audit (or service auditor’s examination) demonstrates that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities, generally including controls over information technology and related processes. The SAS 70 Type II Report examined the integrity and security of Connectiv’s systems, including an exhaustive assessment of the company’s controls in the areas of infrastructure, personnel, policies and operational procedures.
